TUITION

  • Annual non-refundable registration fee of $30 ($45 per family).

  • Recital fee: $130 (includes: 1 recital costume, finale t-shirt, 1 free ticket to recital, and a digital download of recital). All additional costumes are $75. Total is due in December, but broken into two deposits with the first due alongside October tuition and the remainder due with November or December tuition.

  • Tuition is a yearly fee, broken into 9 equal payments for your convenience.

  • First two classes are at the listed price. Additional classes receive a 10% discount. Additional family members receive 10% discount on tuition.

  • Payments are due the 1st of each month. We accept cash, check and credit.

  • A late fee of $10.00 will be charged after the 10th of the month.

  • Returned checks will result in a $25 charge.

POLICIES

ATTENDANCE

To ensure full enjoyment and continued growth in dance; regular attendance is essential. If you miss your scheduled class a make-up class may be arranged. Just look at our schedule and find the class most similar to your dancers’ in age and level; you do not need to call the office to schedule, you may just show up to this class and let the teacher know you are taking a make-up. There will be no deductions or refunds given for missed classes.

CANCELLATIONS

In the event of inclement weather DDA will cancel classes. Our decision is independent of the school  due to conditions changing for the better or worse throughout the day. A decision will be made by 3:00 pm of the day in question, you can find this information by checking our website, Facebook, or calling the studio.

DRESS CODE

COMBO

  • Any colored leotard and tights.

  • Pink ballet shoe & black tap shoes are required.

  • Skirts and tutus are acceptable over leotard.

  • Hair secured off face: bun, ponytail, or braid.

BALLET

  • Leotard and pink tights required (black leotard for competition dancers).

  • Pink ballet shoes are required. We recommend split soles for ages 9 & up.

  • Shorts and ballet skirts are allowed, students may be asked to remove them by the instructor to assess body lines and proper movement.

  • Hair in secured bun

TAP

  • Black tap shoes.

  • Leotard/form-fitting attire required.

  • Hair secured off face: bun, ponytail, or braid.

JAZZ/MUSICAL THEATRE/JAZZ FUNK

  • Tan slip-on jazz shoes.

  • Leotard/form-fitting attire is required.

  • Shorts/leggings allowed over leotard.

  • No baggy clothing!

  • Hair secured off face: bun, ponytail, or braid.

HIP HOP

  • CLEAN shoes for class or barefoot.

  • Instructor will decide what color needed for recital by October.

  • Hair secured off face: bun, ponytail, or braid.

LYRICAL/CONTEMPORARY/ACRO

  • Barefoot.

  • Leotard/form-fitting attire is required.

  • Shorts/leggings allowed over leotard.

  • No baggy clothing!

  • Hair secured off face: bun, ponytail, or braid.

GUIDELINES

  • Be sure to label all personal belongings - DDA is not liable for lost or stolen items.

  • Only water is permitted in the studio - Available for purchase at the front desk.

  • Food and drink is permitted in the lobby.

  • Siblings of dancers may not be left unsupervised.

  • Schedule is subject to change based on enrollment.

  • Dancers’ level will be determined by the instructor within the first several weeks and may result in students being asked to move to a more suitable class.
